Implementation story

GWC implementation story

Ledger provides the operational workflow around RFID so GWC staff can record regalia movements and reach a clearer return position sooner.

Check your RFID readiness

A set of bags containing regalia after a graduation ceremony, ready to be scanned for returns. Contains GWC branding on bags.

Customer context

GWC operates a high-volume graduation regalia workflow in which reusable Assets are issued to recipients and expected to return within a concentrated event period.

The previous challenge

The operational problem is not simply identifying a garment. It is reaching a reliable view of many Assets while issue and return activity is moving quickly.

The Ledger workflow

Ledger combines recipient and Order information with RFID-enabled issue and Return workflows. The active workflow interprets Scans and creates the relevant operational records.

What staff can know

The implementation is designed to help staff see what has been issued, what has returned and what remains outstanding sooner than a later spreadsheet reconciliation process.
