Connect the physical Asset to its destination

Register and Deploy is suited to workflows where an Asset needs a digital record and an operational association as it is prepared, installed or delivered.

A practical deployment workflow

  1. Start from an intended recipient or destination record.
  2. Scan the physical Asset during registration or deployment.
  3. Create the Asset record in Ledger.
  4. Link the RFID Tag and the Asset identifier.
  5. Associate the Asset with the intended recipient, property or destination.
  6. Show progress through the defined Ledger deployment workflow.

What the record means

The resulting Ledger record shows what the deployment workflow recorded. It does not mean Ledger is continuously tracking the Asset or will receive future council or third-party RFID observations.

Later RFID observations require a reader, integration and workflow specifically designed and implemented for that purpose.
