How it connects to Ledger
The RFD40 supplies RFID observations to the Ledger Mobile App in a defined device setup. A compatible host, such as the TC22, provides the application screen. Confirm the sled variant, firmware and connection method before purchasing; not every manufacturer-supported host is a validated Ledger combination.

Models & configuration options
Choose the complete setup, not just the product name.
Where it fits
Use these examples to assess the device against your assets and process.
Equipment handovers
Capture tagged assets while the operator reviews an issue or return in the mobile application.
Mobile asset checks
Bring the reader to equipment in storage or in the field, with the Ledger workflow agreed for that site.
Registration rounds
Pair RFID capture with the asset records needed during registration and deployment work.
Before you choose
- Read range depends on the tag, orientation, reader settings and surrounding materials. A maximum manufacturer read rate is not a workflow throughput guarantee.
- A compatible adaptor and charging arrangement are part of the setup, not interchangeable extras.
- IP54 is not an immersion rating. Assess rain, cleaning and outdoor exposure for the complete host-and-sled combination.
Supply & implementation
Hardware supply & support
Request a quote for the appropriate regional sled, host adaptor, batteries and charging equipment. Supply and support arrangements are agreed for the project.
Hardware supply, warranty and support responsibilities are agreed as part of your project. Standard hardware and implementation services are in New Zealand; international software enquiries are welcome.
