Where it fits
Use these examples to assess the device against your assets and process.
Equipment issue desks
Scan tagged equipment as an operator records who it is issued to in Ledger.
Return counters
Bring returned assets to a known scanning position rather than covering a whole room.
Controlled workstations
Keep the reader beside the desktop application where staff can review the record before taking action.
Before you choose
- Establish the read area with your actual tags and desk layout. Nearby assets must not become unintended reads.
- Metal worktops, tag orientation and mounting can change performance. Test them together.
- Treat this as a sheltered workstation reader. Confirm any enclosure or environmental requirements separately.
